iResearch Services is looking for an individual who has general HR experience. The ideal candidate is someone who can understand business requirements from various departments, and partner with these managers to assist them with employee growth and development. When recruiting, the Human Resources Generalist will understand the technical aspects of the roles to be able to recruit top talent. The successful candidate must be very organised, proactive, detail-oriented individual, as well as a dependable team player as part of a global HR team. The ideal candidate is well versed in UK employment legislation and is able to interpret and develop policies to ensure organisational compliance. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for handling employee relations issues and must be professional, tactful and maintain confidentiality.

  • Effectively manage our HR systems to ensure all personal details and records are kept up to date and keeping up with legal requirements
  • Manage and complete all HR administration including completing employment paperwork, maternity and paternity leave, flexible working requests
  • Manage our sickness and other absence
  • Update and maintain the HR server to ensure all paperwork is filed securely and correctly.
  • Be responsible for producing the paperwork for all contracts, pay reviews, disciplinaries or promotions.
  • Work closely with marketing and other departments at HQ office in India.
  • Monitor employee probations.
  • Manage the employee benefits
  • Manage the internal appraisal system and ensure compliance throughout the business.
  • Manage the administration of visa applications for new and existing employees.
  • Track and document visa documentation and 'Right to work' status for current employees
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing HR requirements.
  • Supporting managers and employees with a range of issues, including disciplinary & grievances, capability and absence management.
  • Support the Director with ad hoc projects
  • Effectively and proactively cascade issues when they arise.
  • Developing a best practice HR environment
  • Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
  • Administer new starters and leavers and advise payroll
  • Conducting induction for new starters
  • Ensure policies and procedures are communicated to all staff effectively and provide training where required.
  • Manage the recruitment of all staff, including developing role profiles, preparing job adverts, selecting appropriate recruitment methods, shortlisting and interviewing.
  • In conjunction with the Finance Manager, manage the Payroll system and pensions.
  • Provide a complete HR generalist service
Skills Required
  • Strong generalist HR experience ideally in a fast paced environment
  • Degree educated is desirable
  • Solid previous HR experience in a HR role (ideally in a standalone function) with excellent Employment Law knowledge.
  • Software packages – Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a multitude of different personalities.
