Summary

A brilliant opportunity has arisen. We are seeking a high calibre, dedicated skilled senior new Business Development professional who will be responsible for driving the sales growth in market research insight and Thought Leadership services. From lead generation to contract completion and maximizing revenue for the business. You will have a solid background in business development from the market research industry and is seeking a forward thinking exciting new challenge that incorporates Thought Leadership and content marketing innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Excellent ability to research and qualify new business leads
  • Identify and open new business opportunities in targeted markets
  • Establish decision makers and influencers
  • Contact and arrange meetings with appropriate decision makers to C level
  • Developing a pipeline and building rapport with decision makers typically senior marketing professionals at leading organisations
  • Confidence to present our value proposition to executives in pitches and meetings
  • Strong ability to identify and analyse prospect needs and generate development ideas
  • Maintain up-to-date Knowledge of the industry marketing landscape and on corporate competition
  • Keep abreast of our products and services in the industry and positioning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Closing sales using a proven sales methodology – structured sales process and achieve targets
  • You are prepared to travel globally where appropriate to conferences and events dependent on business needs
  • Using CRM interaction system for efficiency
  • Be a trusted advocate and champion of iResearch Services
Qualification
  • Strong negotiation skills and successfully covert leads to drive the business forward
  • Experience of Thought Leadership sales (preferred)
  • Proven successful track record of selling a range of market research services to businesses
  • Ability to develop relationships with people at all business levels
  • Strong planning and presentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of using CRM systems
  • Strong business acumen and an aptitude for working towards targets
  • Writing proposals
  • Full sales cycle process
