We are looking for an ambitious Senior Business Development Manager to join our London team.This role will be responsible for the business development activities of the organisation and driving the new sales business for the company playing key role in the company’s bottom line.

You will be required to engage with a diverse range of senior client representatives, most commonly the head of marketing and/or C-level executives, and will therefore possess the intellectual skills needed to understand and interpret their business marketing strategy and objectives and translate those into sponsored research solutions.

In addition, the role will be responsible for handling incoming sales enquiries and calls. Converting sales enquiries into orders and playing a key role in delivering the sales activities to support and build the business.  Occasional travel within the UK and internationally is a requirement of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products/services, our competition in the industry and positioning
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competition
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate development ideas.
  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the company`s ambitious growth.

Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3+ years relevant work experience

Skills Required
  • Proven experience within previous sales roles
  • Business development experience – 2 years
